Sunday Football
Some big games today, 4 draws for me.

Henderson on the bench for a club side only 8th, in the England squad!

Lamenting 'we need to score 2 goals to win a game'

Scary shit, really.

bfs speaks

“Draws aren’t enough now,” said Allardyce. “We need to win four of our last eight games. I’m frustrated. We were fully in control in the first half. We could and should have scored more goals. One is not enough for us because we will concede – it’s a nasty habit we’ve got. To sit back like we did in the second half was a real crime. We tried to protect what we’d got and couldn’t do it.”

Defoe is still too good to be playing for the likes of Sunderland and he will be next year too.

Def a better result for us city losing as we don't have to play them
I'd fancy us turn man Utd over it could even be a champions league decider....?

Re: Sunday Football
A lot of Man City players look to have put the clubs back in the bag bar the Champions League.
They know Guardiola will shift them and probably not going to break their necks over Champions league qualification.
I don't sense a massive hunger

Definitely nice to be in with a chance.

I can categorically say this table watching is much better than the same at the other end of the table.

Expectably frantic, but some of the passing in that game was shocking. We're better than both, given the millions they've spent.

Looking like a 3 horse race for 4th at the mo. Manu still not convincing, they will lose more games, as will Citeh.

Weekend turned out alright in the end despite that cunt ref.

City have some home bankers to come yet, it's a tall ask to think that we can still overtake them - we have to ensure we win our games too and there are a few tricky ones. Gotta love the optimism mind.

Re: Sunday Football
ioc - even the mighty Slaven might find it difficult to beat Man City without playing them.

With had all our fixtures with them this season.

Re: Sunday Football
A ManU win is better, provided we beat them in the league game.

If ManU and us have the same points haul between the end of this and our game with them, then we'll overtake them.

Them winning this makes it easier for us to catch City.

Re: Sunday Football
I'd have preferred a point each but if one of them was to win it's obviously better than Man United take all three.

We probably have to beat them both in the end. A point lost is better.

Re: Sunday Football
How is it a great result if it puts Man U level (or above on goals)
with us?
Surely a draw is better?

When did Bony become rubbish?

Hopefully, with my luck, this means he will score.)

Re: Sunday Football
This will be a great result , but just imagine that penalty hadn't been given yesterday.

We would have been nailed on for fourth!
